🧠 What Is the Einstein Fellowship?
The Einstein Fellowship offers:
- 🏡 5 to 6 months of fully funded residence in the garden cottage of Einstein’s historic summerhouse in Caputh, Brandenburg, near Berlin and Potsdam.
- 💶 A stipend of EUR 10,000
- ✈️ Reimbursement of travel expenses
While living in Germany, the fellow will be immersed in a rich intellectual and cultural environment, with access to academic institutions and opportunities to engage with thinkers from various disciplines.
🧑🎓 Who Is Eligible?
This fellowship is open to young scholars from around the world, including those from Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti, who meet the following criteria:
✅ Are under 35 years old
✅ Hold a university degree in the humanities, social sciences, or natural sciences
✅ Are pursuing a new, independent project (not a continuation of previous academic work)
✅ Can propose a compelling interdisciplinary research idea
