The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) of Japan has officially announced its 2026 MEXT Undergraduate Scholarship for international students who wish to pursue a Bachelor’s degree at Japanese national universities.

This fully funded opportunity is open to students from countries with diplomatic ties to Japan—including Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, and Djibouti.
