🎯 About the Fellowship
Offered through Africa CDC’s Pathogen Genomics Initiative (Africa PGI), this short-term fellowship will strengthen bioinformatics capacity across African Union Member States. Participants will gain hands-on training in analyzing and interpreting genomic data to better inform public health decision-making and outbreak response across the continent.

🌍 Who Can Apply?
You are eligible if you:
✅ Are a public health practitioner working in a national public health lab or affiliated institution in an African Union Member State

✅ Have a demonstrated interest and experience in bioinformatics and public health
🔹 Professionals from Somalia, Kenya, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and other AU countries are highly encouraged to apply.
